I’m Elin, founder of Café del Mundo and Travel del Mundo, and I’m really happy you’re here.

Talking with travelers every single day is one of the best parts of my job. At the café, during travel talks, and on WhatsApp with people planning their trips, I hear the same questions again and again. About altitude. About safety. About what not to miss. About what is actually worth it.

But I also realized something.

There are so many of you I never get the chance to sit down with.

And that’s why I write this weekly blog.

It’s my way of talking to you,  wherever you are in your travel journey. Maybe you’re planning. Maybe you just arrived. Maybe you’re already on the road somewhere in South America.

Each post is inspired by real conversations I have every day here in La Paz. I collect the questions, the doubts, the excitement, the small worries, and I turn them into topics that hopefully give you clarity, inspiration, and confidence.

My goal is simple:
